"I have had an ongoing issue with my heating for years - almost since you first put it in. Constantly shuts off for "dirty sensor". Sensor is not dirty. Replaced sensor, mother board and who know s what else with no improvement. I sleep with a 1/4 inch nut driver by my bed so when I wake up in the morning and the heating has gone off I can go to the attic, take the front of the furnace, remove the nut for the sensor, take out a clean sensor, wipe it down and replace it, screw the nut back in and put the furnace door back. Happens as often as every 3 days! Not sure how many technicians I have had over the years but running into the 30s and 40s I would say."

"The service was completed satisfactorily. However, the initial diagnosis was incorrect. The first tech stated that I needed a new control board on my blower motor which was going to cost $628. When a second tech returned to install the board, he determined that the board was not the problem. The thermostat was the problem, so he installed a new thermostat. He left the new control board in the unit. He then charged me $383 which I paid. Later that evening I check the price of the thermostat on line and the Honeywell T4 Pro TH4110U2002 sells for $40-$75. I called Fras-Air the next day and was told that $383 was the price of the thermostat. I stated that can't be true since that represents a 500% markup. I wrote an email to the company and didn't receive the courtesy of a response. The company is clearly charging me for the unnecessary board to cover its costs. I've been a customer since 2005, but I'll take my HVAC needs elsewhere. I'm very disappointed and i will note the same in my Google review."

He did not open the conditioners to check internally, did not take a temperature in the ducts, did not use any guages on the outside units to check pressure. He did use a hose to wash the units. I was told my complaint would definitely be reported to the high ups. I sure hope so as I am still in awe as to the rudeness of the technician and I always commended Fras Air as having the best people. I am not going to repeat the situation here as it has already been documented. I hope to continue with Fras Air as I have a long term contract but I do not want the same technician to come to my home again. Normally I would never make such a complaint and jeopardize someone's job but this guy will definitely tarnish your reputation somewhere later on. The guy was rude and I was very upset which prompted me to call the office. Besides the visit, the same guy never showed up for the original appointment, whic guy never showed up and there was no phone h was scheduled for the day before. I had to call the office the next day to tell them he never showed up. No phome call nothing. When I asked him why he didn't call he said he did call and I said no way. I was home and also left both my phone numbers and I specifically told the scheduler I would not be home til 6:30. He said, oh well I came or called at 5:00. Why would he come at 5:00 knowing I would not be there? I said I got no message either. He said he doesn't leave messages. That was just the beginning. Really sorry it has come to this but if it were company, I would want to know how the people I hire treat with my customers."

"The A/C unit was cooling the house but not keeping it cool as it should. When tech came out and removed the panel from attic unit, it stopped working. He was somehow able to get it to start working by bypassing something and said we may need additional service. He then went to check the outside unit and said the battery(he used technical term) was a little low and recommended replacing the part. Based on his performance on the upstairs unit, we were uncomfortable with making any additional repairs. Could you please send someone else out to assess what is going on with the unit? The technician was very nice, courteous, however, we didn't feel he had a lot of experience."
