"We waited weeks for the part and service. Meanwhile, I called the office in two different weeks for an update requesting a call back, but no response. Lennox parts stores including Levittown, PA stated they had this evaporator coil in stock and it's a part that's easily obtained, but I was told there was a delay. This delay caused the refrigerant to be half a pound low--after spending almost $1000 in August to replace/dye test/refill ($633, $307) --and we were charged for a full pound, which I feel should be removed from the bill. Also, after unreasonable back-and-forth with the company and Lennox about the extended warranty on the original 'lawsuit' coil--where Lennox claimed they 'didn't have' our online registration for the 10 year extension--the tech did not give any paperwork on the new coil, nor was the online consumer registration which caused so much trouble even mentioned. My wife had to ask for a product manual and walk out to his truck to get it. I paged through the manual to find the same online registration setup that caused so many problems in the first place. This time, online registration will be both screenshot and filmed so we don't have to go through so much aggravation attempting to use it."

"Brandon provided excellent service, however he doesn't know anything about Heat Pumps and was lost and confused during the service call. Even the supervisor who came out had did not know anything about heat pumps and sat in his car. Brandon thinks there may be a problem with one of the heat pumps, however he didn't realize that the Heat Pump is a split system. This service normally takes between 45 mins to 1 hr, however today was over 2 hours due to the above comments. The scheduled time was 12pm to 4 pm and Brandon arrived at 10:25AM, at least he called first as I was out. The customer service representative didn't provide the correct information for the technician, and he was told it was one A/C system when my contract is clearly for two Heat Pump systems. Not sure if this was the reason Brandon was sent out. Please send out people that have worked on these systems before as it will save you and me time. Brandon is a friendly and responsible technician, this job was outside his wheelhouse and expertise."

After I printed out a receipt, tech disappeared for 10 minutes and said that he had to contact his supervisor. When he came back, he said that it was confirmed that I paid for the service. So why was I asked for proof? And why was this an issue at all? The fact that a tech showed up indicates to me that I obviously paid. This episode diminishes my opinion of Fras-Air."

"On 8.17.23 when your tech injected dye and refrigerant in the system with 900 dollars told me that in two weeks , your will come back and check the leaks. No one came and I have to call for another appointment and pay Additional 88 USD. Guys didn't do anything. I have to call another day and schedule another appointment... waste of two days. Tech Sol came and sales guy came and the sales guy try to push me to buy the whole new system, which I didn't liked at all. Sol was able to show me any clear leak in the coil. Very disappointed. Sole told me even after change of coil there maybe a leak and repair and check that leak is another big labor and material cost. This is totally unbelievable and outergoues. Next day got the bill for 3500 for entire job needs to be done. When actually onb8.17=23 I was told it will be 1500."

"Did not turn up. Dispatch was informed that the work was done. I had to call multiple times to reiterate that Jordan Lynch never came by. The dispatch was not helpful either. The arrival window was between 2 PM and 4 PM. Jordan called at 3:30 PM to tell me that he will be arriving in 30-35 minutes. He didnt arrive at all. I called 1 hour and 15 minutes later to inquire on the progress. I was told that the technician completed the work and an invoice was also generated. The dispatch first refused to believe that no one arrived and then later said that these errors do happen once in a while. She then told me that the tech will arrive tomorrow. I am still without any service and get this survey to fill. This is just terrible."

"1. Irony is that another technician from your own company serviced the same a/c unit on July 26, 2023 and indicated the unit was in good shape and ready to go for another two to three years. Now, one thinks how come it broke done in such a short time after service? 2. I feel fleeced on the charge. Multiple sources show the capacitor repair should cost $200-$400 for our area in NJ. You all charged almost $700. Is this the way to treat customers that have been using your service for as long as we have been? Extremely disappointed at the ridiculous high charges. "I will be putting a more detailed review on Google, consumer affairs, social media and will send a direct letter to corporate/CEO Rob Comstock. However, I never thought I would be rating this company as high as a 4stars after everything I went through the last 5 years and especially the last 3 days. I was clearly sold a faulty AC/heating system nearly 5 years ago in 2018. Now any manufacturer I had issues with the product since day one. I had numerous issues with the unit including electrical output, line freezing and no AC output. On 10/30/2023, I called FRAS Air to take a look at the unit and hopefully stand by there product. Unfortunately, I received the total opposite initially. The last 3 days have been very stressful and frustrating to say the least. I was told numerous times how I have a builders grade or cheaper unit, I witnessed a acting service manager reprimand a HVAC tech while he was on speaker because he was giving me advice on next steps. The same acting service manager had me on the phone and was talking about me to another technician and I was telling him that I can hear the entire conversation, the same service manager changed prices on me because I would not sign up for a service contract even though I had a machine that was clearly faulty since day one, then after not agreeing to pay a different price he threaten to put a lien on my house. Even though no repair was completed, he said I never had certain service completed but I did. Go to find out he was the technician at the time. While he not only talked down to me as a customer but as a person. This is all the same acting service manager. This is only the beginning. Then I spoke to Mohammed the General Manager and he is the complete opposite. He cares not only about me as a customer, but also a person and he cares about standing by the product he sells. Mohammed was aware I was very upset but he was calm and really made me feel like he appreciated me as a customer. He sent a tech down at no charge to try and diagnose the issue. Unfortunately the tech was inexperienced and could not determine the issue. So he sent down the acting service manager and Chad act the same was in person that he did on the phone. Came to my house did not introduce himself, walked to the product and thought he diagnosed the issue in minutes but afterwards found out he was wrong with his findings. It was not a good situation I was put in to have a person that threaten me and now he is in my residence but I dealt with it accordingly. Again Mohammed saved the day and expedited the parts and had a top tech come down the very next morning for the repair and no cost. The top techs name is Chris and he is an absolute pleasure to deal with as a person and he is extremely knowledgeable. Even though he did not diagnose the issue because Chad did the day before and he was there to install the parts he initially has some concerns of the diagnosis. Chad stated the evap coil was bad because the discharge house had oil coming out of it which was not true. The oil was from the initial inexperienced tech trying to to the Freon/oil in the system. Chris went on to install the coil and again was an absolute professional throughout the entire process. Upon completion sure enough that was not the issue. Now there was zero power going to the AC unit/furnace. Chris diagnosed the power grid as the issue. Also, during the repair other major concerns was brought to my attention after doing research about my initial instal in 2018. Once again Mohammed being a good leader had a meeting with his team first thing in the morning and figured out a solution for the power grid and the install issue and had the tech out to repair the same day for no charge. There is more to this story and like I said I will be more detailed in my other reviews and my letter to corporate. However, I want to be very clear on three things. Mohammed is a absolute pleasure to deal with he is very knowledgeable, kind and cares about his customer and his companys best interest. Chris is a huge asset to FRAS air and is very knowledgeable and more importantly very personable. Unfortunately that is not the case for the acting service manager . He should not be be customer facing and tarnished the name of the company not only to me, but all my neighbors, social media and the reviews/letters I will be writing in the near future. He turned a situation into a very bad situation quickly. You probably wonder after reading this review why I rated so high. It is 100% because of the great service I received from Mohammed and Chris. As of this morning 9/2 my AC unit and furnace is fixed and Mohammed took care of it at no charge. Not only did he do that he expedited the repair so I have AC for the holiday weekend. I have a disabled mother and children in my house and the situation I was initially put in was very bad. I will be writing a formal letter to CEO Rob Comstock on the situation I had to deal with over the past 3 days."

"Your technicion was excellent, the person who scheduled my appointment was great.... price was way too high. I could have done the repair myself for less than $50 but the call was $800. All that was replaced was a capacitor (a $15 part) and the contacts... they could not have been $30-40... a reasonable amount for the repair would be $400 but no more than $500. So I will be highly unlikely to use your service again as I would expect being significantly over charged by your company in the future as well. I will be replacing my entire system in the next year or two but will be looking for someone that is a little more balanced in their pricing"

"Please see survey of follow-up visit (different tech) today 8/16/23. On 8/1/23 we had a service call, and were sold the "membership," so we asked for both of our AC units to be checked. We were told that the unit which provides AC to our second floor was fine. But today, on a hunch we asked today's tech to check, and he noted that the air filter was ready for replacement, but worse, that the unit was low on refrigerant and possibly leaking. How could something like this be missed? Why am I paying for a "membership?""

"I will know better when Lennox responds regarding the warranty issue on our unit. I know we registered the unit to get the 5-year warranty extended to 10 years, but the last time we contacted Lennox we were told they didn't have registration of the unit even though they had our address, date and installers' name! As "Authorized Lennox Dealers," we expect help with this because today I got a jaw-dropping $2500 bill to replace the defective evaporator coil which spurred a lawsuit, not to mention $175 for the rest of the dye test, which was in addition to $634.00 August 1st to add refrigerant and start the dye test, $3309 we expect warranty assistance. We are not asking for anything that we aren't entitled to under Lennox' own policies. These prices are sky-high despite our "membership." We can better answer this entire survey when we see how this pans out. I am also concerned that I paid for a "membership" but that tech (August 1, 2023) apparently didn't check the attic AC unit although he said he did. Today the tech said the filter needed to be changed, and this unit is low on refrigerant as well. So what did I pay for a "membership" for, and what was the previous tech actually doing in my attic?"
