"One of my four HVAC units was not working after the scheduled maintenance was performed by your technician on 7/7/2020. After investigating, I discovered your technician had failed to reinstall the access door to the air handler after service was completed (which rendered my A/C inoperable on an 87 degree day). When I spoke with the technician that evening, he claimed the unit was operable when he left (which it couldn't have been without the access door reinstalled properly). This makes the third straight service from your company at one of my properties where I've had to deal with HVAC system damage or failures due to your technician's actions."

He asked great questions of me to ensure he had all information needed to provide solutions for my issue, which is replacement of my current Central AC and Furnace. He also raised an issue of my current hot water heater as it is not vented properly and is 13 years old. At first, I thought this was an "upsell", and it very well could have been, but after additional thought, it made sense to replace it as it is in the same spot as my AC and Furnace. Having everything replaced at once with high quality systems makes great sense. When comparing what I've purchased, perhaps I could have received a lesser price elsewhere; however, my interaction with Fras-Air has been exemplary to date. Additional comments are pending as my install is scheduled for this upcoming week."

Just before 10:00 a.m. I received a call that my units could not be serviced that day and had to be rescheduled. It was rescheduled for Wednesday between 10:00 a.m. and noon. By 12:15 p.m. no service technician had arrived and I called. I was informed the service technician would arrive between 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. He arrived around 1:30 p.m."

As a matter of fact, he was the first person to remove the louvre panels completely to hose down and remove several years of moss, mildew, and other debris from the condenser coil fins. The previous maintenance (three previous visits) only performed a very superficial hose wash through the panels. He performed all the work in 85+ degree heat and made certain the unit was running in good condition before leaving. I hope Tyler remains a loyal employee, and we'll be sure to request his services for future inspections."

As noted below, I was supposed to have a sales representative come to my home between 4pm and 6pm today after seeing a service tech this morning. Please reference Ticket 0126558 from June 1, 2020 at 1:39 PM. Your records will indicate I was charged $105.56 and was advised that a sales representative would be out this evening. This has not happened. I called the 856-783-6600 number listed in the appointment confirmation below at 5:53 PM, provided the confirmation number below, and was immediately asked if I cancelled this appointment. This never occurred. The operator, who identified himself as Larry, placed me on hold and got back to me to tell me he was attempting to get in touch with a technician to come to my home. I had to reiterate the facts that I already was charged for a service, was informed that the air conditioning unit needs replacement, and a sales representative was supposed to be here this evening. Moreover, I work as a night shift Emergency Medicine physician, havent slept, and have been up awaiting the arrival of the salesman to no avail. Larry has been helpful, and I am awaiting a call back currently. Nevertheless, I am incredibly frustrated at the perceived ineptitude of interdepartmental communication within your company. I am fully ready to purchase a unit and get the work completed and said as much to the morning technician. The fact that I am met with your company not abiding by its appointments, failed communication within your system, my potentially being sent an individual not authorized or qualified to complete a sale, all resulting in the perception of lack of curtesy for the customer is very off-putting. I greatly would appreciate these concerns being addressed. If you look up the records for 13 Albany Road under the name Barnett you will see you have serviced our system on and off contract for near to 22 years, have had the purchase and installation a few years ago of a furnace and hot water heater, and have been reliable and timely clients of Atmostemp. Our 2nd floor heat pump was replaced in December 2019 and the first time I tried to use the air conditioning the heat came on. I hadn't been on the 2nd floor in several hours and by the time I went upstairs and realized the heat had come in (thermostat was selected to cool) it was already 93 degrees! The technician took care of the problem the next day but I was surprised the wire problem wasn't taken care of during the December installation."

He notes he checked elec. componants and they were worn and that unit "appears to have refridgerant issue". So he did nothing? Told me the system is old and I should upgrade? That's it? didn't clean the componants? Didn't do anything but tell me I have an old system? I know that and didn't need him to tell me its old. In the past 5 years from your techs I had one who actually cleaned and did something other than tell me I have an old system. He came 2 years in a row and had the AC unit purring nicely. I really don't feel your techs know anything about older units other than to look inside the cabinet and say "need to upgrade". That's NOT what I look for in a service company. Kind of disappointed that every tech that has been here (except the one) has done nothing but push a new unit. Not a good long term business plan. But that's just me. Sorry. Disappointing."

We didn't like that they did not wear masks or gloves, some coughing etc. They also neglected to turn the furnace back on so we woke up to 50 degrees on the following morning. Fortunately I was able to notice that they had neglected to turn on one of the emergency switches back on. Again, I think the work was good, they went the extra mile to get the parts that were needed and finished the job which we greatly appreciate. But in these times to not have masks.... even though i saw they had them in the truck and I am sure they needed to wear them in home depot when they went to get a part. They also had told us that they would be back no later than Saturday at 9 am and i called the office at 10 to find they were just then on the way to the office to get the necessary items. I don't care that they had to come later , I just would have preferred better communication. Lastly, they told me to contact the office for any rebate info which I emailed that day (almost a week ago). I have not heard anything from the office either. I don't think I need anything now that i have gone through the rebate application process, as I was able to find the info in the internet but a response would have been nice.Thank you."
